October Highlights at Champion’s Creed: Growth, Grit, and Good Times! 🎉

What a month! October was packed with big wins, proud moments, and major milestones for the Champion’s Creed community. Here's a look at everything we celebrated together:

• Absolute MMA: RECKONING – A Night to Remember

  On Friday, October 17, fight fans packed the house for one of Western Canada’s most electrifying combat sports events. Absolute MMA: RECKONING delivered nonstop action, showcasing gritty veterans and rising stars in a night full of explosive stand-up wars and hard-fought ground battles. From the first bell to the final decision, every fight told a story, and this chapter was unforgettable.

• Fight Night Victories

  Massive congrats to Kamikaze Kenzie, who secured a hard-earned victory at Rumble in the Cage on October 4! His win is the result of relentless work, consistent training, and a positive, coachable mindset. As Coach Josh Fox shared, Kenzie’s dedication, showing up on the mats, pushing through tough private sessions, and always staying focused, truly paid off. We’re incredibly proud of him.

  And another huge congratulations to Hakeem, who brought home the title in his latest fight! Both athletes delivered inspiring performances and represented our team with heart.

• NEW Unified Featherweight Champion!

  Hakeem Dawodu made a powerful statement in his highly anticipated return to the cage, delivering a dominant performance against rising prospect Jake Geauvreau. With a clean sweep on the scorecards (50-45), Hakeem controlled every round and showcased why he’s one of the most dangerous featherweights in the game. Big things are on the horizon; keep your eyes on him.

  

• Kids Belt Ceremony

  Our Little Rollers and Big Champs stepped up in a big way this month! Dozens of young martial artists earned their next BJJ belt, a huge achievement at any age. Their hard work, discipline, and determination showed us all what progress looks like. Keep climbing... future Black Belts, we see you!

• Night of the Ninja Halloween Party

  Costumes, crafts, games, and pizza, our Night of the Ninja was a hit! Thank you to all the families who joined the fun and to our incredible volunteers for making the night so special. The smiles said it all.

• Adult Muay Thai Testing

  Shoutout to our newest Blue Level Muay Thai practitioners! Your commitment and consistency paid off. Now it’s time to level up your training in the Advanced Class. Keep pushing forward, your journey is just getting started.
