After 12 years away from competition, Sheila “Thunder” Bird is stepping back into the MMA scene to challenge herself once again. A pioneer of Canadian Jiu-Jitsu, Sheila is a 4-time World Grappling Champion, the first female in Canada to earn a black belt in BJJ, and the highest-ranked Jiu-Jitsu female in Canada.

In the time since her last fight, Sheila has built multiple businesses, raised a family, and mentored the next generation of fighters. Now, the co-founder of Champion’s Creed and promoter of Absolute MMA is making history—not just as the driving force behind the event, but as a fighter stepping into her own cage.
